Neighbourhood drama! All over Pigeons and their poo...

We've all had some experiences with neighbours that aren't exactly warm and inviting, but this neighbour got the tree involved...
LISTEN to Carol Ofori and Vic Naidoo chat about what type of neighbours they are...
We've always heard about those suburbs that have the coolest neighbours, the ones that host braais together, even have street parties together...But what's really going on behind closed doors? We wonder...
This pair of neighbours won't be hosting anything together anytime soon, if ever. They had a dispute that has literally left them not wanting to share their toys, wait, we mean trees...or pigeons for that matter.
WATCH a video showing the tree that was cut down, literally down the middle (courtesy of YouTube):
Mr. Mistry, one of the neighbours, spoke to BBC news in the UK and revealed that the tree that had been sawed in half had caused a ruffle amongst him and his neighbour for some time. The tree was said to have been housing Pigeons that were nesting there and consequently pooping in the other neighbour's driveway.
After various talks between the two, the other neighbour, who was not available for comment, went on to get a tree surgeon and it was sawed in half, or as we would like to say, given a horrendous haircut...
The tree has since become a tourist attraction where people come past the neighbourhood just to see it. Whether or not the tree will survive this harsh cut, is unknown by Mr. Mistry who was quite irate when he discovered what his neighbour had done without confirming anything with him.
As far as I know they got on well together. We've got a lot of pigeons, hundreds of them. We live in the country and you've got to accept these things.- Ann Wiles (another neighbour on the street)
