What is the one thing South Africans will always swipe their credit card for?
Credit cards can be a blessing or a curse, but no matter what our feelings are about these cards, we just can't seem to let them go.
How many times have you had to tell yourself "this is the last time I'm spending my money on this", yet here you are again, spending money you don't necessarily have. Whether it be shoes, books, or the latest gadgets, what is the one thing you can't seem to say no to?

With an average of 47-million credit card transactions per month happening in South Africa, the average South African owes R16,481 on their credit card account.
Most South Africans justify getting a credit card by saying it's for loyalty benefits, discounts, and for emergencies.
