Man mistakenly orders 60 pairs of reading glasses

"He has conceded that he may not have been wearing his spectacles when he placed the order."
Online shopping is definitely our go-to when it comes to all our needs.
Not only is it convenient, sometimes you pay a fraction what you would online in comparison to a store. But that differs from person to person in terms of viewpoint.
For this man, however, online shopping led to him ordering one too many items of the same nature.
We've heard this story before, but it was usually a young kid who got a hold of mom or dad's mobile device.
Our very own Carol Ofori even shared a story a few years back when her son ordered a number of fans over Amazon.
Safe to say that it can happen to anyone, but we rarely have seen it happen to adults, wink, wink.
This man went viral when his son posted a pic of him sitting with 60 pairs of reading glasses on his couch.
"He thought he had ordered 12 pairs of reading glasses online, but was surprised when a "small mountain" were delivered to his home on Sunday." (BBC)
The funniest part of the whole account was that he may not have been wearing his reading glasses when making the online order.
So, what was meant to be a mere dozen reading glasses, turned into 60 pairs.

"I just remember complaining about the packaging - you know, this is an incredible waste of packaging for just a few glasses," Mr Arnold said.
"I opened it up and discovered this small mountain of 60 pairs of reading glasses." (BBC)
He was extremely taken aback by the fact that his story went viral, saying that people probably just needed something to laugh about.
