Updated | By El Broide
We’ve got some of the best music in
the world coming right from our very own backyard – and we shine a spotlight on
some of the hottest musical acts in KZN right now.
This month on East Coast Radio, we are celebrating More Music March and, in doing so, shining a light on some incredible musicians born and bred in KZN.
Every Tuesday on Local Live with Vic Naidoo, Vic will be chatting to some of the most talented acts from KZN, learning more about them and their musical journey, and he will also give them the chance to perform one of their songs, live and unplugged, just for you!

This week, Vic is joined by the incredible duo RAMDAZ. Brothers Vikshay and Vishekh have delivered a string of hits since bursting onto the scene in 2017 - proving that they have something unique to offer the local music industry.
‘Won’t You’ has been charted on the East Coast Radio Top 40 and this week, they play the track live for Vic as part of Local Live with Vic Naidoo.
The song came to life after the
brothers spent their days in lockdown in what
they call a ‘creative cave’, carefully crafting their fresh spin on a funky nu-disco
beat.

“Everyone knows the feeling of longing for someone to return, pretty much everyone at some stage has/will experience the feeling of wanting someone to come back - and this is what ‘Won’t You’ is about,” RAMDAZ explains. “Whether you’re stranded on a distant planet all by yourself waiting for help or just sitting alone in your room, it’s totally up to the listener to interpret. Every single person has their own unique experiences and ‘Won’t You’ is about that journey.”
Celebrating the incredible music coming out of KZN, RAMDAZ showcases their talent on this week’s edition of Local Live with Vic Naidoo.
