LISTEN: Does the five-second rule apply to food that falls on the ground?
Updated | By East Coast Radio
Vic Naidoo brought up a very interesting topic with listeners on Wednesday after Producer Rory shared an incident that he witnessed at the shops. It's got to do with food and the five-second rule...
Rory Petzer, our producer, shared an interesting observation that he made at the shops with us. He saw a little toddler drop his ice-cream on the entryway carpet at the shop and his mum so calmly picked it up and said, "five-second rule"...
We literally had our mouths open when he told us, because come on now, it's ice-cream, and it's a public space, where hundreds, if not thousands, of people walk over daily.

We guess if it works for babies then it should be fine for all of us, so we're slowly changing course when it comes to the consensus in KZN...

Even Sky Tshabalala got involved and put the below up on his Instagram page, and the consensus amongst the masses is that the five-second rule is somehow more accepted than we thought.
