Keep Or Cut: Money versus friendship

This is the only time of the week when it's totally acceptable to stick your nose in someone else's business.

They say you should never go into business with friends or your family.

And sometimes it's obvious why.
Money can make any relationship awkward and most of us would probably rather just avoid the conversation altogether.
Today on #KeepOrCut, the situation is no different.

"Hey Vic,
My best friend borrowed a lot of money when lockdown first began.
He promised he would pay me back as soon as got back on his feet.
He is now working again and partying almost every weekend. He’s always out and about.
Whenever I ask him for the money he owes me, he says he’s still struggling to put food on the table for his family, and I must stop putting pressure on him.
Should I keep or cut him?"
