If you were hoping for an apology from Boity, you're not getting one

The star has finally responded to the reaction from her "roaches" claim.
Iconic South African singer and actress Boitumelo Thulo recently made headlines when she took to social media and called men "roaches".

Twitter was abuzz, while men were feeling attacked and wanted her to take back her comments.
If you missed it: Boity expressed her disdain for South African men when replying to a tweet telling women to refrain from casually moving between men.

Boity would have none of that, stating: "Don't let the roaches bring you down to their level."
Now, for the first time, she has addressed the upheaval and drama she has caused.

She began her tweet by stating that she had been insulted and trolled by men, and that there is no apology in sight!

A few days ago, I was being trolled by a number of men on this app throughout the day. These men insulted me in every way possible. I too responded with insults & proceeded to call those men unemployed roaches. If you didn’t insult me that day, the insult was not meant for you.😁
