"I HAVE NOT STOLEN anybody's money..."
If you are unaware of the Hello Darlings holiday scheme saga that has been circulating in the news and on social media frontiers, we've got you, just click on the link below.
Tasneem Moosa has released a media statement sharing that she did not steal anybody's money, but it is due to bad business management that the debt accumulated.
She said that after running her first ladies retreat in January 2018, which ran at a loss of R40,000, she found that her offering of affordable travel packages, as much as they were well-received, were not a feasible business concept for her.
Therefore, admitting that she ran her business poorly and suffering tremendous loss was no excuse for her and her family receiving death threats, she says.
I HAVE NOT STOLEN anybody's money. I am not on the run with millions let alone thousands. My bank statements can verify this and will do so. I understand that these trade losses were not the fault of the trusting public who paid us their hard earned saved monies. I understand that it was wrong to use peoples monies to fulfill trips and refunds. I am truly and deeply sorry from the bottom of my heart and never intended for anybody to lose their money. It may have been stupid business practices to run it in this manner but the intention was never to collect anybody's money and to leave or swindle anybody as is being speculated and reported.- Tasneem Moosa
