Four-star hotel serves nachos to a guest on a rusty plate

A guest feels sick after they find out that their meal is served on a rusty plate, at a four-star hotel...
Traditionally, when you book into a four-star hotel, you expect things to be of high quality and the service and food to be four-star quality...
So when this woman spent a night at The Moxy hotel in Edinburgh, UK, she did not expect the treatment she received.
Ossie Stewart, who was travelling through town, spent a night at the hotel and decided to order room service. Soon into her meal, she made a shocking discovery. "I'd been eating it for a while when I realised,” she said. “I actually felt a bit sick on seeing what I had been eating from.”
Stewart decided to wait till the next morning to address this with the manager as she received a very unhelpful response from the reception that evening. She described the plate as a "foul, corroded metal plate".
After speaking to the manager the next day, the meal was removed from her bill but she still felt uneasy as their attitude toward her feedback was very blasé.
Stewart had frequented the hotel before and was surprised with their service or lack thereof on this occasion.
"It was more the attitude that bothered me, you would not expect a chef in a four-star hotel to be serving meals up on that. The hotel is right at the airport and it doesn't give a great impression of Scottish tourism or hospitality, which is usually great."
Although the hotel took the opportunity to apologise to Stewart and have offered her a free night due to her experience, we doubt she will return considering their rusty attitudes.
The hotel management also admitted that the serving plates have now been removed from service and would like to give Stewart an opportunity to experience their great service.
