Famous Verulam butcher has some fun at his butchery
Updated | By East Coast Radio
We love how people, especially homely brands use social media to engage with their customers.
A popular butchery in Verulam, Deena's Butchery has matched its offline popularity with an online one.
Deena, the owner of Deena's Butchery in Verulam has long been known as an artisanal butcher who brings good service, personality and product to his community.
And now, it seems he is sharing his bubbly personality with people on social media.
In a stream of videos posted to Mr Deena Padachie's TikTok page, entitled @TheRealDeenaMama, this charismatic man shares what he is doing at his butchery.
It's low-key a lovely way to get ideas on what to cook for supper too.
A video that caught our attention and received over 215, 000 views on TikTok shows 'Deena Mama' doing something you wouldn't usually see.

We asked an expert about the preparation of Sheephead curry which is considered a delicacy in many Indian households and she said that usually the teeth are removed before cooking.
However, this is just the opinion of a seasoned cook from Durban, who knows who might be doing this so before cooking. A little toothpaste goes a long way...
Perhaps he just did this for laughs...
