This is exactly why we have trust issues.
Between online fake news and lying exes, we already have trust issues.
Now it turns out we can’t even trust our household items.
This is thanks to cake and sugar artist Tuba Geçkil.
Geckil makes ultra-realistic desserts that look like everyday items.
You toilet paper is cake, wait is that a shoe? Nope, it’s cake.

Her beautiful creations have caused a frenzy and forced people to question, what’s real and what isn’t.
The Istanbul-based designer has been baking for 12 years and has even had her delectable works displayed at festivals around the world.
She has also created ultra-realistic sculptures of figures such as Bob Marley and Angela Merkel.
The year is 2030. Bakery art is so realistic, literally anything could be cake. The uncertainty has gripped the world in fear. I go to hug my wife for comfort. She is cake.
