Car crashes into house to avoid hitting 'chicken'

Vic Naidoo thinks that this driver got very creative with his excuse!
Why would he say that? Well, the driver was trying to dodge a chicken that was crossing the road.
It's the stuff jokes are made off.

Luckily, the house occupants and the two people in the car escaped the crash unharmed, which took place on Jackal Road in Waterloo, Verulam.
No one was seriously hurt, with the driver and passenger suffering only moderate injuries.

When recounting the events that led to the driver crashing into a house, he first said that he was avoiding hitting a child.
He soon changed his story and said it couldn't have been a child, but had to be a chicken.

He said he lost control of his car, drove through a boundary wall, and then into the house.
The Ford Focus was significantly damaged.
Wherever that chicken might be, we want to tell him this: no more crossing the road!
