BET Africa will not air Tol Ass Mo interview
Pearl Thusi recently revealed that Tol Ass Mo will be appearing as a guest on her show, 'Behind the Story Pearl Thusi', and has since received a lot of backlash.
Earlier this month, model and actress Lerato Moloi made sexual assault allegations against the comedian.

Allegedly, the assault took place while they were working on a television production in 2014.
What then led to a Twitter outcry was the announcement that Mo would appear on Pearl Thusi's show on BET Africa.

After receiving scathing attacks and viewers stating that this announcement was 'tone-deaf', BET Africa has released an official statement, which can be seen below:
BET Africa confirms that the Tol Ass Mo and Mome interview from the upcoming new season of Behind the Story with Pearl Thusi will not be aired on the channel out of respect for the current environment, legal proceedings and the basis of impartiality.
