#AskAParent: "How do I explain a pandemic?"
Updated | By Vic Naidoo
This Women's Month we're asking moms to help other moms.
Every Tuesday, Vic has a feature called #AskAParent in which parents or kids ask KZN for help.
With it being Women's Month, we thought it would only be fair to focus on mothers who might be finding themselves in a tight spot.

This week, an email came in from an anonymous mother asking for some coronavirus assistance.
This is what she had to say:
Hi Vic,
I’m a mom with two kids aged 4 and 6 years old and I’m struggling to explain this pandemic to them.
On the one hand, I need them to take it seriously so they take all the precautions, but on the other hand, I don’t want them having nightmares.
It was easy at first, because I kept telling
them not to worry as it would all blow over, but it is still here and not going
anywhere soon. How are other parents explaining it to their kids?
