We are looking to help organisations in KZN that feed the hungry. It could be a registered NGO or a community feeding scheme.
Today's recipient is Anne Slater of NGO ICare. They are devoted to finding a sustainable solution to the problem of street children in Durban and surrounding areas by means of a tailor-made holistic cycle, consisting of outreach, rehabilitation, education, housing, skills training, and internships.
She informed us about the work they do and what areas they service - and also how many people they are currently helping through their programs.
To nominate an organisation, you need to go to the www.ecr.co.za, click on the Kagiso Media Hunger Relief Fund tab, then click on the “I wish to nominate button”. Please make sure you give us the correct contact details.
