All in a day's work: Catching and releasing a python in the wild
Updated | By East Coast Radio
A lodge owner captures a large python and releases it.
As the weather starts to warm up, rest assured there will be more snakes emerging.
Perhaps 'rest assured' isn't quite the correct phrase to use as snakes make everyone feel a bit squeamish.
But it seems when you live on a farm, it is something of an expectation to have snakes visit now and then.
A video that shows a woman releasing a python from a big bucket was a great example of what you can expect from farm life.
She casually releases the large python by tipping the bucket over the edge of the bakkie.
Unsure as to where it was going to slither, she climbs up the side rails at the back of the bakkie.
Watch what happens when the bucket lands on its side and the python slithers out.
