Inmates of the Oklahoma County jail in the USA have complained that they have been subjected to "inhuman" treatment.

This has led to two former detention officers and their supervisor being accused and charged with cruelty offences.
The inmates stated that they were forced to stand in a room, while their hands were cuffed behind their backs, and secured to a wall.

The officers then played 'Baby Shark' on repeat for hours.
The supervisor allegedly knew about the disciplinary actions that were taking place and received multiple complaints but did nothing to stop or address it.

It also seems that the case could be successful, as helpful video surveillance footage of the punishment has come to light.
The officers decided to play the music as a "joke", but it has been proven that music can be used as a very effective torture device.
