Facebook removed a post about onions because it was too sexual

The social media platform was experiencing some technical difficulties.
These poor onions did not mean to burn any eyes.

But clearly, Facebook disagreed.
A Canadian garden centre was shocked when they received a notice from the platform concerning their advertisement for Walla Walla onions.

Apparently, the post contained "products with overtly sexual positioning".

But clearly, there is a big difference between a bunch of onions and the human body.
Luckily, the mistake has been rectified and the post has been restored.

The Facebook head of coms in Canada has said that automated technology is used to keep nudity off the apps, but sometimes it has trouble telling the difference.
Hopefully, these onions did not result in any unnecessary tears being shed.
