Woman marries her Twitter crush
Updated | By Zaba
Who said true love can’t be found online? This story might just change your mind!
Have you ever really fancied someone so much that you just can’t contain yourself? That every time you see their name, you get butterflies in your tummy, and you spend hours picturing what your kids will look like and (for the girls) you practise a new signature, with his last name as your married name?
Well, Victoria O’Brien fell head over heels in love with whoever was manning the twitter account for the bookstore, Waterstones, in the UK. This was back in 2012. She was so in love, that she tweeted the store to let them know.
She then told her friend who challenged her to get a date with the guy, and two months later, she bagged a date with Jonathan.

Fast-forward to 2016 and Victoria tweets out a picture of her and Jonathan on their wedding day, with the original tweet where she professed her love for him. Her husband, Jonathan, who is a social media guru, said: “It’s been very odd being on the other side of the story. It’s weird going viral. A lot of people have got in touch, saying their dead happy for us and that it’s nice to see a lovely story. It seems to have snowballed a bit”
Well Jonathan and Victoria, we love love, and we love happy endings!
Congrats on your wedding and here’s to a million forevers of love!
well I'm in love with whoever is manning the @WstonesOxfordSt account. Be still my actual beating heart.

The Waterstones' social media guy replied to her, little did they know that it was the beginning of a beautiful romance!
