Watch: Tongs used to pull King Cobra out of minivan
Updated | By Damon Beard
Of all the things you'd expect to find hiding in your car, a large snake is certainly not one of them, right?

Over time, we’ve spoken about snakes having been found in weird and wonderful places. Snakes in amongst children’s toys, wrapped around door handles, and even snakes under beds.
This time, it's a King Cobra, about 2.8 metres long and 4.1kg in weight, found hiding in a minivan in Yongren County, China.
Authorities had to use a pair of tongs to remove the snake and place it safely into a cage. It was then given to a local wildlife preservation department, according to CCTV+.
Did you know that the King Cobra is the longest venomous snake in the world? The longest ever recorded King Cobra end-to-end was over 18-feet!
