Watch: Mpumalanga bus driver attacked by student while driving
A pupil put the lives of schoolkids at risk when he physically assaulted a bus driver while the vehicle was in motion.
A terrifying assault video has been making the rounds on social media, showing a pupil from Mpumalanga physically assaulting a bus driver while the vehicle was still in motion.
It is reported by TimesLive that the education department's Elijah Mhlanga shared the video on his Twitter account.
"So this learner in Mpumalanga is beating up the bus driver while the bus is in motion putting all lives of the passengers in danger. Nobody seems aware of the catastrophe that could occur. The violence is shocking...@Mpueducation," his tweet read.

The 30-second video clip shows the schoolboy clad in uniform standing beside the driver of a packed bus. The driver cautioned the boy to move away, instead, he started punching the driver, causing many of the kids to scream in fear in the background. At one point he even gets on top of the driver.
It is reported that the education department has condemned the video, and an investigation is being conducted into the matter.
Although we're not quite sure how the incident ended, it is clear that this pupil put the lives of the other kids at risk, which probably was a traumatic thing to experience.
