WATCH: Man smuggles python out of pet store by hiding it in his pants
We've heard of random things being stolen before, but this is one that you definitely wouldn't expect.
Another episode of "Caught on CCTV" is doing the rounds, and this particular one has to be the most bizarre of the lot.
Authorities in Michigan, USA are busy searching for a man who stole a... wait for it - ball python from a local pet store and decided to smuggle it out by hiding it in his pants.

Emily Scheiwe, a staff member from the store, uploaded footage from the incident on social media and pleaded with the public to see if they could identify the man.
“The staff at I Love My Pets are in disbelief. Someone stole our beautiful ball python who had just been adopted and was going home the same day he was stolen (Wednesday, March 20th). Please, if you have any information at all or know this individual, please alert us or the Rockwood police department, thank you!” Scheiwe posted.

Many have been left baffled by the incident, with some hoping that the python would bite him in areas we cannot quite mention as payback.
According to Petco, the ball python is also known as the “royal python” because royalty wore them proudly as jewellery back in the day.
