Watch: Elephant charges at safari vehicle, breaks tusk
Updated | By Damon Beard
Tourists on a safari were left shaken up after a furious elephant charged at their vehicle, causing its tusk to break in the process.
It seems that Botswana is the place to be if you want to witness all the action. A few months ago, I chatted about a group of tourists who survived a swimming elephant charging their boat, and now this.
A leisurely safari turned into a complete nightmare for a group of tourists when an elephant came crashing through the trees towards them.

According to UNILAD, the incident occurred at the Chobe National Park in Botswana.
At first, the tourists spotted a baby elephant across the road, but in an instant, it all turned nasty when a furious elephant came charging at their vehicle.
With a tourist filming the entire incident, the elephant gains pace and bashes its gigantic head against the speeding truck. In the process, a part of the elephant's tusk breaks off, and you can actually hear the moment it happens.
Thankfully, the elephant finally backs off and allows the truck to drive off safely.
