Watch: Crocodile tries to attack couple in their swimming pool
A couple from Zimbabwe is lucky to have escaped with minor injuries after a crocodile tried to join in on their fun while they were chilling in a swimming pool.
You’d think that when you go for a swim, you’d be pretty safe, especially if you’re in your own pool.
I mean, the odd bug that’s caught in the leaf catcher may make you squirm a bit, but generally speaking, I think it’s pretty safe to say you’d be okay and safe from other wildlife.
Well, not according to this footage from the guys at UNILAD.
Like something out of Jurassic Park, CCTV footage which did the rounds back in 2016 has recently emerged again on social media showing a man and woman enjoying a late night swim, only to be interrupted by a crocodile who wanted to join in on the action.
The couple is seen enjoying themselves when all of a sudden, 26 seconds in, a crocodile can be seen lunging towards the couple in the water. They were evidently unaware of what was happening.

In a split second, the guy jumps out of the pool, leaving the lady to fend off the crocodile, by herself. He runs to the other side in an attempt to distract the crocodile. Thankfully, she manages to escape its snapping jaws with only minor injuries.
UNILAD reports that the incident took place in Kariba, Zimbabwe.
