Watch: 3,500 voices promote unity of South Africa through song
Updated | By Damon Beard
A mass gathering of South Africans recently sang a song of unity to promote a sense of community.
In a day and age where ‘goosebump’ videos are becoming scarce, a social musical initiative called 'Koolulam', which is aimed at bringing people together, is warming the hearts not only of South Africans, but others around the world, too.
According to Good Things Guy, King David School in Johannesburg recently partnered with the initiative and brought 3,500 South Africans together, and in just 45 minutes, they were all singing in harmony to One Republic's hit, 'I Lived'. The song was chosen as its lyrics speak about living life to the fullest.

The group's Facebook page describes them as: "A social-musical initiative aimed at strengthening the fabric of society, centering around mass-singing events."
Their voices, smiling faces, and looks of hope and optimism are enough to give anyone those 'goosies'.
