Teen girl handles haters in most sophisticated and mature way ever

The Matric Dance is such an important and special occasion. It is basically the send off for high school kids into adulthood.

Madison, 18, and her 19-year-old boyfriend, Tre, are in love and had planned to go to their high school dance together. Tre is dressed in a smart suit and Madison kitted out in a sequin-filled pink dress, which she said she felt ‘great in’.

The couple posed for several photos outside of Madison's home, and she then posted them on Twitter, alongside the caption: ‘Prom with the love of my life'.

The photos received more than 40,000 likes, and, of course, Madison was blown away by the response.

But sadly, with every picture comes some sort of negative feedback and comment.

Not only negative comments, but downright hurtful and some totally uncalled for. Like this one from a girl saying: ‘Wow he loves you even tho you’re fat.’

Personally, I think it is disgusting that someone could write something so hurtful like this on a public platform and think they can judge someone who may be struggling with weight issues.

Acording to Metro, Madison spoke up and said that at first she was hurt by the negative comments doing the rounds, but she always keeps a positive mindset and would never carry the negativity around with her. She hopes that this is a lesson to those sending this hate around that what they say could impact someone tremendously. What a truly amazing girl!
