A 14-year-old schoolgirl from the Philippines is about to have surgery to remove her parasitic 'twin'.
According to Daily Mail, Veronica Cominguez's sibling failed to develop fully and she has been forced to live with part of her 'twin' on her torso. Over the years, she has grown on her - literally! It is said that she has had to clean her 'twin' and even cuts fingernails which grow from her stomach.
Generous locals have raised money to send her to Thailand to have the procedure done to remove the extra parts. It is reported that Veronica has to also deal with blood and a vile-smelling liquid which flows from the growth. I can only imagine the embarrassment and shame this 14-year-old has had to go through on a daily basis?!
