Photo shows crash victims 'going up to heaven'
Updated | By Damon Beard
A photo shared on social media has brought comfort to the victims’ grieving relatives.
Most of us have lost someone close to us at some point in time.
My sisters and I were lucky enough to be with both our parents when they took their last breaths, giving them so much love and just holding their hands as they left this world as we know it.
I remember at the time thinking what an incredible calmness there was as they slipped away.
Sometimes, families aren't able to be at their loved one's side when they pass away, and knowing they died under tragic circumstances leaves them completely lost.

So when two friends and a baby were killed in a car crash, the families were understandably devastated, but comforted by an incredible photo taken at the scene of the crash.
A driver caught in the traffic jam took a photo of the scene to prove to her boss that she was running late because of the accident.
But the photo, strangely, shows a beam of light shining down on the scene, with two lighter patches appearing to fly up above the wreck.
Whether it's a pathway to heaven or just light reflecting off a windshield, it's brought the family of the deceased a lot of peace and comfort.
