Nine-year-old boy bursts into tears when mom buys him McDonald's

Adam Bin Mohammad Irwan, who is autistic, is filled with emotion when he tucks into his first McDonald's meal after months in lockdown in Singapore.
We are at a loss for words after seeing this little boy's reaction to eating his first fast food meal after months in lockdown.
His mom, Mum Wati, recorded the moment on Monday, 18 May, after the fast food chain was allowed to open on 10 May. She filmed herself getting to the car and telling the camera that she is getting McDonald's as a surprise.

She arrives home and lays the table for her son. When she calls him, he thinks she is pranking him, but when he enters the kitchen and sees the food on the table, he bursts into tears.
He cannot control himself as he begins to eat. He hugs his food and thanks his mother through the tears.
In South Africa, fast food outlets are only available for delivery - and we assume many who have missed their takeout have had the same reaction...
