A new study suggests the second-born is the naughtiest
Updated | By Damon Beard
A new study has found that second-born children are more likely to cause trouble and commit crimes. If you're the older sibling in the family, you're gloating right about now, right?
The middle child in a family supposedly gets less attention than their older and younger siblings, a survey of families has confirmed.
Of the 1,000 parents and 1,000 middle children surveyed, four out of ten middle children said they had to fight for attention and one in three felt there was no real role for them in the family.
A third of parents said their middle child was the naughtiest of the three and admitted that their second-born got left out.
I also found an online poll asking if second-born children are more likely to get into trouble, and 42% of the votes from people agreed, saying they'd witnessed it first hand.
What do you think? Do you think your oldest child influences your younger kid(s) to make riskier choices?
Do you have a middle child and do they get as much attention as your first child did?
According to research - the 2nd born in your family is the naughtiest?
