New study finds sleeping next to your dog will improve your sleep

Are you looking for a solution to get a perfect sleep? You might want to grab your pet and get some shut-eye next to your pooch.
If you're struggling to get some good old fashion shut-eye, you may want to read further.
While some change their pillows or even their bed, a new study has shown that if you're a dog owner, it may be advantageous for you to sleep next to your furbaby.

According to Mirror, a study was carried out by Mayo Clinic which explored whether sleep was disturbed with the presence of a dog on the bed. About forty healthy individuals took part in the study, and it was found that participants slept better with a dog next to them.
"Most people assume having pets in the bedroom is a disruption. We found that many people actually find comfort and a sense of security from sleeping with their pets. Today, many pet owners are away from their pets for much of the day, so they want to maximize their time with them when they are home. Having them in the bedroom at night is an easy way to do that. And, now, pet owners can find comfort knowing it won’t negatively impact their sleep," the clinic's Lois Krahn reportedly said.
