Man discovers something disturbing hiding in his sandwich

A man overseas has reportedly found maggots in his sandwich and posted a video on YouTube to prove it.
He says that after he took a few bites, he noticed the sauce on his sandwich wrapper was moving. The man then took a video of the incident and posted it to his Youtube channel. He found live maggots roaming around in his sandwich wrapper. EEK!

After the video was recorded, the man took the sandwich back to the store where the manager offered him another sandwich or a refund. He took the refund.
He also went to the hospital as well, where he was given medicine to kill off the bugs just in case he ended up eating a couple.
The store has since released a statement wanting to clear up any confusion surrounding the unverified video and in the meantime, the man is discussing the option of taking up legal action against the restaurant chain, although he states that it's a matter of principle and not about monetary compensation.

Now, in my opinion, something just doesn't add up here. The video clearly shows the maggots on the wrapper of the sandwich but none in the actual sandwich, well not that I can see anyway.
