Making dreams come true
Updated | By Damon Beard
This week, The Big Favour manages to make an ultimate dream come true, thanks to the help of Outriders Social Dirtbike Club.
JP wrote into The Big Favour asking if there was any way we could make his dream come true.
About eight years ago, being a bit overweight, he decided to focus on his health. He started training, lost some weight, and entered his first ever bodybuilding show.
He then decided to give the Men's Health South Africa cover guy competition a go... and managed to win!
JP managed to get an online coaching sponsorship with BTD - Born to Dominate - where his coach told him he needed to enter the IFBB KZN Provincials, where he took third place.
Now JP has made the South African IFBB team to represent South Africa in Poland at the IFBB Worlds in November 2016, but he has to fund the trip himself.
JP has been hard at work and has to date raised about R6,600, but needs R20,000 in order to take part in the competition.
A massive thanks goes out to Sean Caswell, Rod Vera, Tanya Perry, and all the members of the Outriders Social Dirtbike Club! They've donated R14,000 to JP to make his dream come true, and he will be taking part in Poland!
