Little boy 'honks' after ingesting party whistle

I'm pretty sure we've all been to a party or surprised someone and blown on a party horn? You know, those little whistles with the piece of curled up paper that unravels when you blow into them?

It wasn't all fun and games though for a small kid who literally 'honked' whenever he breathed after accidentally swallowing a party horn.
Doctors had no option but to operate after the eight-year-old boy swallowed the small whistle by accident.
The small white plastic whistle became lodged in the boy’s trachea and before the operation, the boy's doctor decided to film the boy 'honking' and put it online as a warning to other parents.

Obviously, as it is a huge concern for parents not wanting the same thing to happen to their kids, the video has been viewed and shared thousands of times already.
May this be a lesson to parents to teach children about how things that we think are innocent and playful, can go horribly wrong in the blink of an eye.
