"YOLO, I'm getting paid next week" and "I'll just do it this once" are just some of the phrases we might utter before making some of our worst decisions.
Is it just our human nature? Or is there another reason why we feel the need to justify our decisions, especially our bad ones?

So whenever you know something is going to be bad for you and you should rather stay away, you find yourself making excuses. You're basically just telling yourself little white lies.
Yet you do this every time and you can never seem to stop.
