Clegg was just 66 at the time of his passing following a battle with pancreatic cancer.
The Kearsney College Choir are no strangers to East Coast Radio. The boys, who recently bagged gold at the World Choir Games, have performed in studio before and continue to wow Mzansi with their tunes and soulful voices.
The choir joined Thandolwethu in the studio on Wednesday to say 'Hamba Kahle' to the icon, and perform a moving tribute to him.
"It is with deep sadness that we mourn the loss of Johnny Clegg. His songs had a huge impact on generations of our boys & became firm favourites to perform," they said in a tweet.
