Instagram remove images of a boy because of his disfigurement
Updated | By Damon Beard
When a mom uploaded pictures of her and her son she never expected Instagram to remove them. Take a look at the pictures and see for yourself.

A mom of her 12-year-old twin boys has had a picture of herself holding her one son Harry, removed off Instagram.
He has a Godenhar Syndrome which causes a facial disfigurement and as a consequence has no eye, eye socket, ear or nostril on one side of his face. He also has a short jaw.
Harry is also autistic and non-verbal – but his twin brother Oliver is not affected in any way.
Harry's mom, Charlie who's pretty active on Instagram and Twitter often posts about her two boys, but when she posted a pic on Instagram where Harry wasn’t wearing his prosthetic eye, another Instagram user reported the image.
Instagram’s content moderation team then reviewed it, decided it breached community guidelines and removed the picture.

It seems the social media powerhouse’s team made a mistake and after Charlie started a campaign on Twitter and received thousands of retweets in support, the photo was restored.
Really?
Would a picture of a child with a disfigured face disturb you enough to make you want to have it taken off a social media site?
Do you think this picture should have been removed?
In my opinion, the person that reported the image needs to get a life.
The only thing Instagram should have done is removed this whiner's profile.
Check out some more photo's of Charlie and Harry together and tell me you're offended?
