Frozen fish comes to life after being placed in water
Updated | By Damon Beard
Could this be a miracle captured on video or just science at work? You be the judge!

This video has sent the internet - and me, into quite a tizz!
Some people are freaked out, some are saying the video promotes cruelty to animals, while others are just slating the human race as a whole, questioning why it's entertaining to torture a living creature?
So a frozen fish is taken out of a freezer and put into a bowl of water where there's another living fish swimming around. Miraculously, the frozen fish comes to life and within a few minutes is swimming around the other fish.

Miraculous? Well, perhaps not as it could be that the fish and other aquatic creatures can survive in a state of suspended animation. In other words, a form of hibernation.
Some ice-bound fish are able to shut down basic bodily functions, slow their metabolism, and enter a dormant state. Cold but not frozen.
Is this the craziest thing you've ever seen?
