Farmer makes sure animals are hydrated during drought in Kenya

Patrick Kilonzo Mwala is being praised for his efforts to keep a waterhole in Kenya full so zebras, elephants, and other animals do not go thirsty.

We all know about the drought in our country, but after some much-needed rain over the past few days, I'm sure there are a lot of people breathing a huge sigh of relief?
The drought goes beyond our borders though and a Kenyan farmer is managing to keep wild animals in his country hydrated. The man travels about 45km to drop off the 12,000 litres of water the animals need - four times a week!

The animals have become so reliant on him they now mob his truck when he arrives.
