Everyone is talking about this father and daughter and their natural hairdos

Benny Harlem and his daughter Jaxyn are my new favourite Daddy-Daughter pair, and I am not alone. The two have been causing a stir on Instagram because of their gorgeous natural hair and strong bond.

Benny is indeed a super dad because he shows a great example to his daughter of confidence in everything you do and to embrace your heritage. He says that it is his job as a parent to protect and grow his child. By showing so much attention and care he hopes that Jaxyn will grow up to be a confident woman.

The one thing I really love from this duo is how they rock their natural hair, and boy oh boy do they have tons of it!

I am a strong believer in the fact that representation is very important in a child’s life and that if a child sees that their natural hair is beautiful from their parents, they’ll grow up to love themselves.

I have natural hair, and one of the things I hate with how people treat my hair is the fact that people always want to touch your hair. Golden rule of the afro: Do not touch the afro without permission.
