Elephants work together to save young calf from drowning

Any parent would be completely frantic if their young one fell into a pool... and it seems it's no different when it comes to animals.
An incredible moment to witness has surfaced of a pair of elephants saving their drowning calf at a zoo.

The calf slipped into a pool and you can immediately see the frantic adult elephants panicking.
In an amazing show of teamwork, the adults rushed into the water and helped the baby elephant to keep its head above the water.

When you watch the video, look out for the third elephant in a separate enclosure. It is also hugely distressed by the situation as it can't help with the rescue.
