It's the return of the zombie fish, people! Move over 'The Walking Dead', here comes 'The Swimming Dead'!

Last year, the internet was sent into a frenzy when a frozen fish miraculously came back to life when placed in a bowl of water. Some thought it was some weird phenomenon while others said it was cruelty. Either way, it freaked me out.

If you thought that was weird, wait till you check this out. A group of diners were shocked to their core when they witnessed a cooked fish 'spring back to life', jumping off their plate at a Chinese restaurant.
About to enjoy the meal, the diners in the restaurant jumped back from the table to watch the fish's tail flick and jump from the plate to the table.
Although it was a weird thing to witness, science explained that the sudden movement seems to come from the fish's muscle tissue which spasms even after death.

Science or not, it sure is something to witness a dead fish jump right before you sit down to devour it.
