A 36-year-old woman was charged for ‘repeatedly’ calling 911 after her parents cut off her cellphone service.
A 36-year-old American woman was arrested for defeating the ends of justice. According to CBS online, Selino Katherpal was charged for calling the Regional Emergency Dispatch Centre after being told to “only call for police for legitimate reasons".
According to reports from CBS Detroit, this happened earlier this month. In the recording, we hear the woman in question complain about feeling unsafe; she continues to let the officer know that she was unable to call for help or any of her friends.
According to 19 News, Selino Khatherpal posted a $2,500 bond during an arraignment on February 14. Her preliminary hearing is taking place in Massillon Municipal.
