Could this be the most awkward Golden Globes moment ever?
This is just awkward on so many levels…
Have you ever had one of those awkward moments when you go in for a handshake and the other person doesn't put out his or her hand to reciprocate?
Or even worse, you launch yourself into hug mode and you get batted?!
At the Golden Globe Awards it was Emma Stone who experienced this...
La La Land’s Damien Chazelle picked up the award for Best Original Screenplay and Emma – who stars in the mega-prize-winning musical - went in for a hug as Damien stood up to collect his award. BOOM! That hug didn't happen and it was oh-so-awkward!
In fairness, Damien was in the midst of hugging his girlfriend at the time but it was still cringeworthy!
