Musicians don't always have to have two hands and two legs. A song composed of birdsong has recently made its debut on the UK singles chart.

The song, titled 'Let Nature Sing', comprises of various bird calls and was released by RSPB - the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds. It was released to create awareness of endangered species and to spread the word that nature in the UK is in a critical state.

"The track features 25 of the UK’s most beloved birds found across all four countries and a multitude of habitats. It showcases solo divas, such as the blackbird and robin, but also the rhythm section of the great spotted woodpecker and grasshopper warbler. We are blasted by the brass section of duetting cranes, the simple melodies of birds like the great tit, the master-jamming sedge warbler and the incredible booming bass of the bittern," the RSPB said on the YouTube video of the song.

The accompanying visuals to the song showcase some pretty impressive shadow hand puppets.

Who knew that bird sounds could be so relaxing? Let's hope this becomes a chart-topper.
