Carer’s dance with elderly patient warms hearts!
Updated | By Damon Beard
Carer Lee Holdroyd noticed resident Pat was feeling a bit down, so he put on some music to cheer her up.
A really kindhearted careworker in the UK has not only cheered up an elderly resident, but brought two families together at the same time.
He noticed one of the residents was feeling a bit down so he put on some music and danced with her to cheer her up.
Loving music and a bit of a song and dance, his plan worked like a charm and in no time she was up and about, feeling on top form.
See: this random act of kindness will put a smile on your face
Their dance was recorded by a colleague and posted online where it was spotted by the careworker's older brother, who he hadn't spoken to in years. So they made contact.
Then the video was also watched in Canada by the elderly lady's brother, who she had not seen in almost 70 years. They too made contact.
So, a little song and dance never hurt anybody - and it brings families together too.
