Bullying in the age of COVID-19

We were shocked when a concerned mother reached out to tell us how her son, at a Durban-based high school, had boys remove their masks and cough onto him in an apparent act of bullying and intimidation.
The world will never be the same after the COVID-19 pandemic. We have had to adapt our way of life and find alternatives to our normal, everyday routines. This is probably the most evident when it comes to the school system.

Learners, teachers, and parents have had to get used to the idea of e-learning and all things digital education.
Now, children have been returning to school and things are seemingly returning to normal. Which means the bad will also be returning along with the good.

One mother reached out to Tee Xaba, by sending a WhatsApp during her show, and mentioned that certain high school boys had been taking off their masks at school.
