Updated | By Damon Beard
This deserving single mom will finally get the chance to relax and unwind after receiving heartbreaking news about her health.
In case you missed Wednesday's Big Favour, take a listen to it in the podcast then read more below:
I received a letter from Danielle to tell me about one of her dearest colleagues Jane who has been diagnosed with a very aggressive cancer.
After surgery and a number of rounds of chemo, a 'last resort' treatment was offered, in order to extend her time by a few more months. However, she found that she was highly allergic to it, so the treatment was stopped. Jane has since been told there is nothing more that can be done.

Jane is no ordinary woman. She has the kindest heart and the most infectious laugh. She is a single mom to two boys and she is an inspiration to everyone around her. She is the first to help someone in need and is always offering a kind hug or listening ear when most needed. Even though she has been given the worst news ever, you still find Jane at work, laughing and smiling. She brings so much light to those around her.
Due to her being a single mom of two boys, she hasn’t been able to afford to take her boys on a holiday and all she wants to do is take them away and spend some good quality time with them.
Enter Sean Granger - General Manager for Granny Mouse Country House and Spa, situated in the beautiful KZN Midlands. Sean and his team are going to be pulling out all the stops for Jane and her boys by collecting them from home and taking them for a two-night stay with all meals included.

Everything is included, and if that means sitting in front of the fire with a glass of red wine, spa treatments or a tour of the KZN Midlands - Jane's wish will be their command.
Thank you to the team from Granny Mouse for making this possible for a deserving woman.
For more info on how to contact Granny Mouse Country House and Spa, email [email protected] or call (033) 234 4071. You can also visit their website here.
On behalf of the Big Favour and myself, we wish Jane and her boys love and strength and a wonderful time in the beautiful KZN Midlands.
