The Big Favour gives a gift of sight

I had a really special letter from Julie asking if we could help Monica, a very important lady in her life.

They've worked together and known each other for over 13 years, and Monica is a lady with a huge heart - always putting everyone else before herself.

Monica wears glasses and in January last year, one of the arms of the glasses broke. The frame Monica has can't be fixed and anyway - at this stage, she just doesn't have the money to get a new pair. She's also schooling two little ones that aren't even her own children.

Every morning, without fail, Monica takes sticky tape and tapes the arm back onto her glasses so she can work. She knows that come midday she will have to do it again, but she does it anyway.

Julie's wish for Monica is for new glasses and an eye test.

Llewellyn and Louise from Specsavers jumped on board and gladly assisted Monica with new spectacles and a comprehensive eye test. They've also offered free eye tests and glasses to the three children should they need them - and put a whole heap of goodies together for them too.
