Awkward! Woman turns down man's public marriage proposal
Lights, camera, and no action! A man's perfect marriage proposal ended up in nothing by tears and awkwardness!
Just recently I posted an adorable flash mob proposal which took place in Cape Town. I love those big proposals, and because I'm a true romantic at heart, I can't help but choke up when a partner's better half echoes a resounding 'Yes' to the big question.

However, not all proposals go according to plan, as can be seen in this video which popped up on my Twitter feed. It was far from a 'Happily Ever After' type of ending.
A Twitter user shared a clip of a guy bending the knee in the hopes of turning his girlfriend into his wife. He even got a professional film crew to shoot what was supposed to be the happiest memory of his life.
Sadly, what was captured was an awkward situation of the woman rejecting him, and walking away with an eye full of tears. On Air With Ryan Seacrest reports that it is not sure if the couple will continue to be together after the cringe proposal.
I think that if this is a 'Love Conquers All' situation, a failed proposal shouldn't come in their way of true happiness, right?
